As part of my ongoing work on mechanisms that cause meridional displacements of the ITCZ, I wish to analyze the ability of current coupled climate models to simulate the mean position and seasonal movements of the ITCZ. The initial focus of this research will primarily be to determine the extent to which current models unrealistically simulate a "double ITCZ".
